New Decade!

Well I have entered a new decade! I am down another 1.5 lbs which brings me to 278.5 or 36.5 lbs total. I have not been at this weight in over three years. Yay!!! I am so close to my short term goal of 40 lbs. and it is super motivating!

Last night I was able to get through an entire Cardio workout on the Leslie Sansome Walking DVD. I was not in the mood to do it but she kept saying "You can do it!" and I did =)

It amazes me that I have 72 followers! Before I started blogging, I had heard of blogs but never knew there was a whole community of bloggers. I feel so blessed that you guys care to read what I have to say and take the time to encourage, support and root me on. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! You guys rock!

Should be a nice weekend and hopefully I will get in lots of activity. I am going to help my mom with her home office. Her doctor told her she needs to increase her exercise. She is not overweight but is anemic and has had heart surgery. She is not sedentary but does need to incorporate some cardio into her day. I am going to look for a workout DVD for Seniors for her birthday.

    Shelley, I am going on a cruise to Alaska on July 19th with my mom and my mini goal is to lose 40 lbs. by then. My reward is to have 3 Coronas (I have not had a beer in 2009!)while we are sailing.

  13. Hi Carla! I asked her if she would use one and she said no. She said she is interested in walking around her neighborhood. She lives in a lovely neighborhood so I will start walking with her there. I am sure one of the neighbors would join her too.
