Freaky Friday

Still winging it in general. We had a catered lunch yesterday and I ate 2 bat sugar cookies and then in the evening had a kid's grilled cheese and fries from Jacque Le Cube. I am looking forward to being able to cook again in my new place. I need to get the pilot light lit sometime this weekend or I will have to wait until 11/9. Also won't have Internet, TV or phone until next Tuesday. I probably won't post over the weekend unless I schedule a post ahead of time. It will be interesting to see all the activity when I upload on Monday.

Just had to share... when I dropped Dave off last night and I was driving home I saw a house with Christmas lights on. They also had two wreaths that lit up as well. Hmmm last time I checked my calendar it was Halloween not Christmas folks! What are they thinking?!?! It is bad enough that we see Christmas stuff in stores starting in September but that is just downright ridiculous. By the way, I have been driving by that house since June and the lights were on for the first time last night. Hope you all have a safe and spooky Halloween! Until next time...

  1. Christmas stuff gets tossed at us earlier each year. I know last year I was so sick of Christmas music and such by the time it actually arrived. =(

Congrats again on our new place!

  6. I don't get it! Halloween decorations are so nice, why just ignore it?? My neighbor will be putting his Christmas decorations up the day after Halloween, so I guess I'll be in the Christmas spirit very soon!

  7. Ha, I was just scanning the radio today to see if any stations were playing Christmas music. I love this time of year and can't wait until we get all our decorations up and music playing all day!

  10. I hear you about the Christmas decorations being at the store. Honestly, I went to pickup a witch hat yesterday and they already had all the Halloween stuff in the middle of the aisle and christmas decorations stocked. Talk about not wasting time.

The good news? I bought tons of Halloween stuff at 50% clearance. I'll save it for next year.

    Great blog.
