It's a New Day

Ended up going to the Outback for dinner. Had the Ahi Tuna as my entree and a salad and baked potato. Had a good deficit yesterday. Tried to drink lots of water. I went to bed before 9:00 p.m. because I had to be up at 5:30 a.m. to get Deb and Larry to the Airport.

I got on the scale this morning and I was down 4 lbs. from yesterday whew. I really appreciate all your comments yesterday. Some made me smile and one made me cry. It was just a bad day all the way around but thankfully today is a new day.

Planning on going to the Senior Center after work to submit my application. I am not a Senior but since I have a chronic condition (Diabetic) I can use their facilities which are less then a year old. They have two pools and state of the art exercise equipment. It is across the street from my new apt. Which also reminds me I need to get blood work done to check my sugar levels (Hba1c). I am hoping to eliminate the insulin by next spring and this will be a good indicator if that is possible. Until next time...

  3. Getting your blood sugar lower is a great goal. It's really life-saving. That's better than any jeans size or dress size.

    Nicely done on that loss!

  7. The good thing about quick weight gains is that they can come off quickly too. You did great yesterday Katie! Moving is super stressful. Keep taking care of yourself.

  8. I love the pool. I joined a gym that I can barely afford because it had a pool. For me being seriously heavy the weightlessness is just so much more workout friendly. I probabally don't get the workout I would like in a regular aerobics class but I don't need to stop after four minutes either.

I'd like to say my recent weight shift was an odd fluke but I can't deny that volume of junk I consumed.

You really are being mindful and I think hat is the key if you want very purposeful living. I believe that acting is so much more powerful than reacting. Don't be jarred by anything. You know where your going, even if you get a little sidetracked you are remembering to keep looking for that north star. Clear sailing!
