Slug Bug

Nothing exciting about yesterday. I went home from work and dinked around on my computer and had a sandwich for dinner. I fell asleep at 8:00 p.m. and woke up a little before 7:00 a.m. this morning. Guess I needed the extra sleep! I will be happy when this stupid cold goes away.

I have a dilemma as of late which is a good and bad thing. My work clothes are really loose. They are literally hanging off me. I don't have the money right now to go and buy anything new (moving) so I guess I will pick a few things and have them altered. I will also try to find something at the Thrift store to supplement as well. I just feel so slouchy and matronly but then I try to focus on the goal and it makes me feel a little better.

Nicole is moving this weekend and is going to give me her boxes when she is done so that will really help out. I haven't started packing yet but I should be getting the keys to the new place early next week. I figure I can do a lot of the small stuff ahead of time and then at the end of the month just move the big stuff. I am trying not to agonize about it. Change is good... change is good.

In my post tomorrow, I will be reviewing the Bodybugg. I have had a number of readers ask about it so I thought I should write a review. I also got Cardio Bellydancing by Dolphina on DVD so I am hoping to do that tonight and review it as well. Until next time...

  1. Change is good, but it is scary sometimes. Hmm, the bug is interesting. Have you found it to be helpful?

  2. I'm guessing your fancy little chart is from your bodybugg online stuff? It looks really helpful wish I had something like that though I'm guessing if I looked around online I could probably find something similar. Anyway, hope that darn cold goes away.

yes, change is scary but you'll be fine. Hope the move goes well.

  3. If you can afford the alterations, I'd definitely encourage you to go for them, even if you just get one or two things done. As I sometimes forget until I move into smaller items, it feels so much better to be in clothes that actually fit.

Good luck with the move. Don't be scared: you're getting a one bedroom!

  4. Thrift stores are awesome - hopefully you can find some deals.

Ah-ha, trying the belly dance DVD, eh? I really get a kick out of doing it. Now that it has been a week, I'm (sorta) getting better. The hardest part for me is putting the hands with the belly/hip parts. lol
The first time or two it bothered my knees just a little but now it doesn't at all.
Hope you like it as much as I did. She has a Burlesque DVD, too, and I'm thinking of trying that one next. WooWoo. lol

    Have a great week!

  5. I know what you mean about the loose clothes. I have a bunch of them. I am waiting for them to fall off before I get new ones. That might be awkward in a work environment. lol. Have fun with the bellydancing.

  7. My clothes are getting loose. It's a good problem to have but a problem nonetheless.
