Weigh-In Wednesday

Like a dork, I forgot to put my bugg on this morning. My calories consumed yesterday was 1334 so I probably had a 1000 deficit or so. I was trying to get to work a little early and I guess it threw me off my regular routine. I did not go to bowling last night. I wanted to insure a decent weigh in and the weather was harsh so it was just as well. We ended up having a nice dinner (see above) of pork chops, potatoes and green beans. I made a Sugar Free Fat Free Cheesecake for desert. I should have taken a picture of that too. It was good but I think it would be better with some fresh fruit on top. It did have a little bit of an aftertaste to it so the fruit would help mask that.

So for my "official" weigh in I am at 260 which is 2 lbs. less then last week! It feels so good for the scale to be moving downward again. I have seen this number before though and am truly looking forward to breaking through the next decade and seeing some "new" numbers on the scale.

Beckie-Lynn at Confessions of a Pleasingly Plump Single Mommie asked me what "plan" I am using for my weight loss and I told her I would address that in today's post. However, since I don't have my bugg with me today I will explain in detail tomorrow.

It is another blustery day in the neighborhood. Apparently today is going to be the worst of this storm front. I am going at lunch to get my eyebrows threaded and need to run one quick errand with Danielle tonight. The bar is hosting a Pleasure party and she needs to get some snacks and a cheese tray from Costco. We will not be attending the party though. Not the venue I want to do "that" kind of shopping in ;-) Until next time...

  1. Katie,
Congratulations on your 2 pound weight loss! Be sure and celebrate it before you set your sights on your next "decade" down numbers.
Keep up the good work you inspire lots of people and I like your food pictures too.

  6. Yay Katie! Nice loss this week!!! Your dinner looks great. I haven't had green beans in quite a while but seeing them reminded me to put them on my grocery list.

Too bad about missing bowling - I don't like to get out in bad weather, either. Nicer to hunker down at home.

  7. What a tasty looking meal! What I notice is that everything is "seasoned", but not "sauced". I blogged about this in my first week of being a blogger. It is amazing how many calories are hidden away in all the ways we dress up simple foods.

I can be really satisfied with a good variety of seasoning blends instead of gettin' saucy!

yay for the scale victory too!

  9. Katie, it's possible, but only IF you stop with the desserts and the potatoes. I think you know that, and you won't be mad that I mention it.
Really getting serious would produce dramatic results, think about it. I want you to succeed!

So I'm doing that mood face thingy too. Do you just change the mood on the mood page and then it automatically changes your mood on your blog?

  17. Go Katie! Congratulations on 2 pounds! Be safe in this stormy weather. I had lunch with a client on Monday in Foster City and got caught on 92 due to a downed tree. I am over the hill again tomorrow and am hoping it wont be pouring when I am driving. Keep up the good work!
