Loopy Tuesday

Went better then I expected with the finger surgery, thank goodness. Everyone was super nice. One of the surgical nurses had just purchased a bodybugg so we talked about that and my blog while they were dicing and slicing. I have to keep the dressing on for 2 days and then the stiches will come out in 14 days. I am taking Darvocet for the pain and I am at work. I warned them ahead of time so it's all good. Katie is going to be a little loopy today :-D I did drive to work and will drive home but I am less then 5 miles away.

I didn't have my bodybugg on yesterday. I did not have breakfast and had a sandwich for dinner so calories were lower then usual. Tonight, we are going to the Redi Room for dinner and I will have my usual Salmon. Tomorrow is weigh day so I am not quite sure what to expect. I was down last time I checked but I got off schedule with my pills so I am retaining water. It remains to be seen.

  10. I'm glad the surgery went well. I had a shot in my finger when I was younger to remove a really deep splinter and it hurt almost as much as the shot I had in my toe to have an ingrown toenail removed. That was the worst!

    Take care of yourself!

  14. I'm glad that your surgery went so well. Here's to a speedy recovery. (You can't have your bird finger out of commission.) ^^

Don't worry too much about your weight, at the moment. Medications and fluids given and so forth are going to futz with your numbers for a bit. Just eat as you normally do, getting lots of protein for healing and concentrate on recovering and taking care of yourself. *gentle hug*

I'm glad things went better than expected, and I'm sure you are glad to have it over with.
