Calibrating Katie J

Well we did not go to Santa Cruz last night. There was a lot of traffic (accident?) so we decided to just go home. Fortunately the heat was not nearly as bad as the previous two days so we managed with fans. We walked over to El Pollo Loco and I had a Tostada Salad. It was good but not worth the 894 calories! After we got back I played Wii for a 1/2 hour or so. I am in love with Table tennis and I tried Sword fighting and kicked some major ass!

I updated my goals in my bodybugg program yesterday to lose 10 lbs. or 1.5 lbs. per week with a goal date of October 11th. The recommended loss per week is no more then 2 lbs. per week. It had been since May that I updated it :-o The good news is I hovered over the same couple of lbs. since then and the bad news is I hovered over the same couple of lbs. since then. It is time to buckle down and get focused again. Now that my head is not spinning 100 miles an hour with life altering news, I can focus my attention on my goals again. I also updated my goals on my sidebar.

This weekend is going to be great! Saturday night Dave and I will be having Deb and Larry over for dinner. I am making Salmon and some Chicken Kabobs. Sunday, Dave and I will be going to see Celtic Woman at Mountain Winery where we saw Yes. It is such a cool venue plus it will be an ideal backdrop for the performance. The weather is supposed to be nice (yay!) as well.

Wanted to give a shout out to MB for getting to Onderland. Congrats MB!!! Go say hello if you have a chance!

Well I hope you have a wonderful weekend and don't forget to enter the CSN Giveaway if you haven't already! Until next time...

  1. Have a great weekend, I started refocusing today, I walked the dog, and my legs feel like rubber legs, but it felt good getting motivated. take care, all the best.

  2. Love your post title! We should all have a celebration day!!! Good that you are refocusing, but completely understandable that you got a little blurry considering everything you were dealing with. Have a wonderful weekend!

  3. I certainly know how frustrating it is to hover over the same couple of pounds but if we stay dedicated we eventually push pass the hover point and start moving downward again.

You are so sweet. Thanks so much for the shout out! I'm not sure I could have done it without all the support from my blog friends. I still have a long way to go but it's nice to see my weight start with the number "1" again.

THANK YOU so much! Have a great weekend!

  4. Have fun at Celtic Women - I could never get my hubs to see them (or any music/musical for that matter!). He says that's why I have a Mom, daughter and sister!
