MLK Monday Mix

Hello! Ladies and Gents! How are you this morning? Doing well I hope! I imagine some of you are enjoying the day off for Martin Luther King Day. Even though I work for a school, we are working in the office today. Such is life... At least it will be a fairly quiet day. I prefer it busy but...

Hope you had a good weekend. Mine was good. I got to hang out with Danielle on Saturday. She made stuffed chicken breast, sweet potatoes and artichokes.  We chatted and drank wine and caught up. It had been months since I had a nice glass of Cabernet so I enjoyed it immensely. As for Sunday, I took it pretty easy. I was really congested so I played Wii for a half hour but I did not go to the gym.  We picked up some saline rinse and it seems to be helping with the congestion.

I received the Stylish Blogger Award from Dancing Towards Myself over the weekend. I wanted to acknowledge it and will post the details later. I have been poking around some new blogs (Twitter) so I will link to those when I post the award and recipients :-)

I really enjoyed putting together the post Dear Future Katie J and in the comments, Lisa suggested writing a Success story which is a wonderful idea too so I am going to put that together. I had thought about doing that for the bodybugg website but wanted to wait until I was closer to goal but I have already lost more then the people they have posted on their site so I think it would be fun. Until next time...

  1. Thanks for the link to A Deliberate Life yesterday - it WAS a great post.

Good idea on writing a letter to your "future self", too!

  5. We had to work today as well. C'est la vie.

I so love homemade dinner and a glass of wine with girlfriends. It's the perfect way to catch-up :)
