Monday Mucky Muck

It's Monday again! How did that happen so fast? Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I had a really nice one. Not as active as I would have liked but nice nonetheless. Saturday, I got to hang out with Danielle and we went to Costco to pick up last minute items for their Super Bowl party.  It was a freakin madhouse as you can imagine but I managed to navigate pretty well without steam rolling anyone (not that I did not want to!!)

My cool find was this insulated shopping bag that keeps food hot AND cold. It has a 12 Gallon capacity so it has lots of room to put stuff.  The one I got has pink and white flowers (go figure!) We also stopped at a garage sale and I got a few Valentine items, a red sparkly vase and a planter that I am going to put a cyclamen in. This is a cyclamen...
Sunday was a good day. I went to brunch with my mom and got some stuff done at her house. I went down to the bar about 3:30 p.m. I ate a plate of food that was 80% veggies but I could not resist the baked goodies so I had my fair share of brownie bites. I had 3.5 beers and they tasted great too. I was in bed by 8:00 p.m. but I feel good this morning. Today I am armed with my bugg and back to business. I did not go crazy but it is a long time since I have inbibed in treats like that.

The winners for the Bio Oil samples are Darla and Chabby Chic Mom. Ladies, please email me at katiejisonherway@gmail.com with your addresses. I am putting together my 2 Year Anniversary Post and it has been reflective but fun. I do have some giveaway items planned as well. Helen, I promise you I will get your package mailed this week come hell or high water! Man, I can be the world's biggest procrastinator! Until next time...

  1. This time of year, I can grocery shop on my lunchtime and it's freezing outside so everything stays cool. I sure could use one of those insulated bags for the summer though. Great idea!

  2. Woo hoo - I never win anything and I mean Never. Maybe it's because of The Year of the Rabbit. Thanks, Katie. I'm dying to try this stuff. I was almost going to buy some on the weekend, but I held back. Congrats to Susie too. Love your Costco bag - very pretty. I have a brown one from Elle that has seen better days....hmmm, another trip to the dreaded Costco.

Looking forward to your 2 Year Anniversary post. Reflective and fun sounds like you - a great combintation.

  4. That is a really cool (haha, I slay myself) bag! With our heat, I have to be careful to zip right home after I grocery shop. Once I got a flat tire on the way home and everything started melting!

  7. I like the bag. It's very cute. And good for you for eating the veggies and giving yourself a small chance to indulge for the super bowl.
