Giveaway and Gabbing

Had an uneventful Monday night. Dave was actually home for most of the evening. I watched a little tube and then went to bed to read. I am almost finished with my 2nd book on my Kindle. It is Can You Keep a Secret? by Sopie Kinsella. She is the same gal that wrote Confessions of a Shopoholic. Fun, lighthearted reading. My next book was recommended by one of my colleagues at work. It is called the Hunger Games. It is going to be a movie in 2012.

Tonight I have my second of three appointments at Planet Beach. THIS time, I am going prepared though so I can stay for the duration. My first appt. was cut short due to my not eating and getting low blood sugar. It won't take as long either because I know the drill now.  Speaking of Spas, I signed up for another Living Social Deal. Can we say addicted! Sheesh! They really are such good deals it is hard to pass up. This one is for a Champagne Peel Facial. Regularly $120 for $49.

So here are my bathing suit pics for the challenge. I will refrain from bashing myself. I am looking to see the transformation by the end of this summer! The good news is this suit covers my inner thighs which are not pretty in the least bit so I have a smidge more confidence in this suit vs. regular ones. It is all one piece.

I did not get a chance to do the measurements so I will do them ASAP. Hard to do by yourself lol.

Did you have a chance to hear about my Mio Giveaway? If you haven't please leave a comment on the giveaway post telling me which flavor you would like to try? I will announce the winner on Friday, June 10th. You can get additional entries if you mention the giveaway on Twitter or Facebook. Until next time...

  1. I pretty much just measure waist and hips (rarely thighs) and when it's time for new bras, I do the bust measures. But that's it. Like you, I'm appley (less now with a 104 lbs off) and if the torso is leaning down, then all's well. I can't measure my upper arms by myself, and they're still big, but the hanging skin is deceptive.

I have Hunger Games on my Nook. Not read it yet, though.

Proud of you for taking the bathing suit pics. It's not easy to post, huh? We're used to covering up! But you will be happy you took them when you compare with your body August 28. I find visual progress really cheering to the spirit.

    Happy Tuesday, K.

  3. I haven't done measurements either, I tried doing them by myself but kept getting different numbers. I just can see how my shirt and pants get looser (or tighter).

You'll be so happy you did those bathing suit pictures. It will awesome to see the difference. Keep trucking along and don't lose focus!! :-)
