Broken

I bought a new bike on August 18th. My moms house sold that day as well.  Well, I was riding my new bike to D's house and half a block away from the bike shop I crashed the bike  and broke my left wrist, sprained my right and smashed my face up. Mary Graceful as my mom would say. I'm off work until after I get my cast off which is Sept. 13th. Life has been kicking my ass that is all I can say. I will survive though.  I have hope and faith.

I hope to be blogging regularly again soon. Love and miss you all. xoxo

  2. ow ow ow! Crashing stinks and I had one recently too so I can really relate to the pain, frustration and for me, I felt so stupid! (hope you didn't). Best wishes for a quick recovery!!! Love the pink wrap they added to your cast to make it seem a little less clinical.

  8. I just read this and I know a bike accident is very painful. I crashed my bike three years ago. I also broke my wrist and had a cast on for three months. It was MISERABLE! I'm so glad you only had to wear yours for a month. Hopefully you have it off now and are doing better (since this was a month ago. Funny, my first cast was fluorescent pink too. :) My second one was purple and my last one was blue (yes, I had three - they changed it every month). Take care!

  10. How are you now, Katie? What happened to you was really unfortunate, and I hope you recovered more quickly than expected. You did the right thing in getting your injuries treated by experts right away and avoid further damage to your body.
