I had been taking 70/30 ...YAY for reduced insulin! I had been taking 70/30 mix--I went from 70 units a day at the start to 10 units a day over about a year's time. I started having a couple hypoglycemic fits a day a few months ago, so I knew I had gone as far with 70/30 as I could.

The doctor switched me to regular insulin. It was like I was set free! No more need to feed the insulin--no more need to gulp down sugar to keep from passing out! Wahoo!

I now take 6 units of regular, long-acting nsulin in the morning and then 2 units of short-acting before meals if needed. Like I said, I feel like I've been set free!

I rejoice with you over the insulin cut! As a landlord, thankfully I've never been put in the position of having such deplorable conditions that my tenants feel the need to leave. Have you talked to the health department about having your landlord cited?Kylehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00235073044536622230noreply@blogger.com
