I'd have to say measuring spoons if that counts! I have to say they have saved many recipes that would other wise not have worked out :)
ReplyDeleteFavorite kitchen utensil? I have to say I love my cookie scoop. I got it several years ago and have used it for cookies, brownies, muffin mix, ice cream and all sorts of other things.
ReplyDeleteI love my meat pounder, ha ha. Not sure of it's official name. So easy to pound out chicken breasts though so they cook nice and evenly.
ReplyDeleteI'd have to say my magnetic measuring cups/spoons!
ReplyDeleteMeasuring cups....ofcourse!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the weight loss, Katie. 3 in one week is great.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite utensil is my knife sharpener to keep my knives uber sharp for slicing, chopping and dicing.
Good job! Three pounds off forever!
ReplyDeleteFor me...my favorite utensil is the whisk. I just like it.
Five pounds by Christmas ... that would be a great gift to myself. Congrats on your loss. That's terrific. My most used kitchen utensil (I guess a cutting board isn't a utensil but mine is should be attached to me) is my chef's knife. I couldn't be without it or its companion, the cutting board.
ReplyDeleteGood job this week! Do you like your body bugg?
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is my measuring cup. I only have one and I use it several times per day... let's hope I never lose it!
ReplyDeleteMy garlic press is my favorite. I use that thing so much it's almost silly to put it away!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Katie - way to go on the 3 pounds!!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite kitchen utensils are measuring cups, for sure.
Great jon on accomplishing your goals this week! Way to go!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite kitchen utensil is the soup spoon. Weird, I know, but it is handy for so many purposes. :-)
Hi, Katie! I just stopped over to thank you for thinking of me. The joke was tooo funny! I passed it on.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been doing much blog visiting--the surgery does not let me sit long, but I wanted to stop by and say, hey.
Congrats on the new decade--and over the holiday too! Wahoo!
I didn't know about the giveaway, but since I'm here and I love prizes, I'll play along. My favorite kitchen utensil is a big kitchen knife that I got last year for Christmas. I forget the name of the style, but it's similar to a chef's knife but a little different shape and has grooves on it. It's made for chopping veggies. Anyway, I love it.
Deb
Congrats on the 3 lbs. loss, welcome to the challenge, and thanks in general! :)
ReplyDeleteHurray for three pounds! My favorite utensil is the old fashioned egg beater. It's my favorite for whipping up the fluffiest scrambled eggs.
ReplyDeleteYou kicked butt with you goals this week! Congrats!!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on kicking bootay on your weekly goals and three pounds gone. :D
ReplyDeleteMy favourite kitchen utensil is my stainless steel tongs. I own two pair, one long one shorter and I can't live without them. I use them every single day. For everything from handling raw chicken to grilling to cooking pasta to serving salad to using them as grabbers to reach things just a little too high for me. Hell, I even use them to help me decorate my Christmas tree. They work great for hanging tinsel and ornaments on those oh-so-high upper branches at the top. :D
Very nice on the weight loss! Keep it up! You sound so happy and positive! I love that!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite utensil is my Pampered Chef spoonula scrapy thing. I love how it doesn't stain, I can use it as a scraper and a spoon and use it in hot things without it melting. LOVE it!
Congrats on the weight loss! Keep doing what you know works and you will(should) keep dropping those pounds!
ReplyDeleteNo need to enter me in the contest but my favorite utensil is my measuring cup and spoons use them constantly through out my day.
Also, good job on getting your five days of exercise in. Keep up the good work! Go Katie Go!!
Given that I own multiple sets (like more than 5), it's probably my measuring spoons. But lately, I am enjoying my apple corer the most!
ReplyDeleteDoes the wine corkscrew count as a kitchen utensil? If so that's my favorite. If not...then I'd have to say the thing I use to zest lemons and shred cheese. I think it's called a plane or something like that? I call it my lemon zester! Great job on the loss -- you are so going to hit that 5lb goal before Xmas!
ReplyDeleteNice job on your goals!!! And three pounds...AWESOME job!!! My favorite kitchen utensil (not very original by the looks of the reponses) is my measuring cups. I have learned that I have to measure everything!!! So...yep--will say the measuring cups are my fave...can't live without them.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the great work...and five (or more) lbs. will be gone, gone, gone by Christmas!
Grats on your goals! :) I have to say my favorite kitchen utensil is a silicone spoon that's similar to the old fashioned wooden ones - but easier to clean! It's come in handy with more frequent healthy cooking. Best wishes to you!
ReplyDeleteGood job on your goals!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite kitchen utensil is my chopping knife, I love to chop and dice and I love to chop veggies!
Awesome job.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite utensil is my vegetable peeler -- it looks like a carrot and has a silly face.
Leilani
I love my knives!
