Success Stories
Had a good day yesterday. I had 6,984 steps which I haven't seen in at least a week. I did exceed my normal cals consumed but was still able to maintain an okay deficit.
My mom watched a story on Good Morning America about three gals that lost over 100 lbs. and were featured in the latest People magazine. Each of them did it in a different way but they were all successful. They showed their before pics and then their current pics in bikinis! I found it to be very inspiring! I am a firm believer in the power of positive thinking. The more I read about people succeeding the more motivated I am. I follow blogs of people that are in all stages of this journey and they inspire me. People giving me support and encouragement inspires me. This is no cake walk I know. I am not looking at it from rose colored glasses but focusing on others successes and the positive aspects of this endeavor seem to be helping me. Thanks for ALL your help! Until next time...

Thank you so much for posting the Good Morning America spot. Those women were such a great inspiration for me!!!
ReplyDeleteYou should have walked around the house a couple of times to get over 7,000. Either way, that's an impressive amount of pick-em-up-and-put-em-down. WTG!
ReplyDeleteJenn - they are in this week's people too. I bought it and I think I will post them on my fridge!
ReplyDeleteJack - You are right! Especially since I weigh in tomorrow!
WTG on the steps. I'm trying for something similar to that tomorrow. I also appreciated the GMA success stories.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments on my blog. I'm just up the road from you in Sacramento. :)
Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite bloggers lives in Sacramento I think..."Lee Getting Fit".
ReplyDeleteI am like you Katie and love following people in all stages of this journey and using different approaches. I learn so much and really value the feedback of others, even the comments I see on other people's blogs will stick with me some days. You have a beautiful attitude!
We've lost almost the same amount of weight and have the same goal weight. Maybe we'll be in People together. ;) I just love the blogosphere so much! You can find people struggling with the same issues to help support you in whatever journey you're on!
