Had a great birthday! I gave myself the day off as far as watching calories. I am just thankful that I even had a deficit. I didn't go overboard but I did have a few cocktails so the calories added up quickly! I also had Strawberry Shortcake for desert. My friend bought a single size piece and we shared it. Last year I would have eaten it by myself so that is major progress in my book. My goal is to reach my ideal weight by my next birthday and to be off all the medications I am taking now. Until next time...
P.S. I am mad at the darn calendar. For some reason it won't update when I add activities to it. I had already created one and it stopped working so I made this one and it doing the same thing. Grrrrrr... I do have the data in the bugg software so maybe I will just add them to my posts or screenshots.
That's a fantastic goal. It'll be fun watching you reach it.

ReplyDeleteso glad you had a good birthday! and what you wrote about is something Id so often say to clients when they'd lament something like having 2 slices of pizza.
ReplyDeleteWe'd talk about what theyd have done BEFORE they began their journey to health (usually at least double that...or way more) and then they'd see if was an AWESOME victory.
life is for living :)

That's a great goal and an even better reason. Sure, we all want to lose weight to look good but it's what's inside that counts! Great job and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
