I didn't go to church because I can't put a bra on. Ughhh... I am still going to my class though because it is only a 1/2 hour and not formal at all. Plan on R.I.C.E. for the rest of the day. Rest, Ice, Compression and Elevation. Oh yeah and meds. Ibuprofen during the day so I can function and Darvocet at night for sleep. I peeked at the scale and I am down another pound. I am getting obsessed about weighing again so I need to put it away but it was nice to see that number. I can't wait to get the 250s. Once I break into the next decade, I will also have less then 100 lbs. left to lose. That will be exciting! I am not going to let this arm thing get me down. I am back on track and will be rocking the gym with Karla next week. At least it does not impact my cardio right? Hope you are enjoying your weekend! Until next time...
What a good attitude you have during hardship! I was reading the article you posted last night and found it interesting. I really hope this heals up for you. I just can't imagine. Yet you are right, it won't affect your cardio. Still sending fast-healing vibes your way.
ReplyDeletekatie you can do it. I know you can!
ReplyDeleteI'm excited for you to get into the next "decade" as well...I remember when I finally had less than 100 pounds to lose - it felt so doable!
ReplyDeleteGreat thinking about getting to the gym next week, despite your poor arm. I agree with Jo - you do have a wonderful attitude!
Um Katie? I don't believe that God cares whether or not you have a bra on. Seriously, hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteKatie, that was funny about your bra and not going to church. I think that's got to be the funniest excuse I've heard :D
ReplyDeleteI'm excited for you getting in to the next decade ... sooooon!
Hope your arm gets better soon so you can get off the meds and put your bra on! God will miss you ... :D
Just found your blog. I am on a get healthy mission, too. I must say that your loss is inspiring!! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteAww, Katie, I hope you feel better soon. Congratulations on the scale sneaking in the right direction. Good on you to not get thrown totally off course by the injury. Keep it up! (Only this time with less getting hurt)
ReplyDeleteLove your new layout and I hope you feel better soon!
