Monday Mumblings

No screen shot from Sunday since I did not wear my bugg over the weekend. I really need to get a grip and just keep it on over the weekend. Eventually I will be able to log food at home (CALL APEX) but in the meantime I can still track calories burned and keep tabs on food intake. I did get some packing in on Saturday but did not do diddly squat yesterday but sit around and watch football and hang out with my friends. I am the eternal procrastinator but it isn't like I am moving a huge amount of stuff either. Big sigh... I made it through the day without drinking beer which was good! I did have two Bloody Mary's though and that was it alcohol wise.

I was thinking about going to the gym tonight and then get Dave for a little while. We will see what happens. All I know is I need to drink a lot of water today because I am feeling bloated from too much salt. Until next time...

  1. I also take forever to get to do what needs to be done, then get so cross with myself for leaving everything to the last moment...joys..and after years of knowing I'm this way i still havent made the changes..so now accept that's the way I am...I deal better if I am under pressure...think you the same as me in that way.
I'm off to teach my aerobic ladies now...rushing to send this comment as time is flying and I'm not ready...you see...here I go again..wait to the last minute then start looking for my music, my gym bag etc.
my mom is a salt lover and I have watched her suffer with water retention...for that reason I've cut extra salt out of my diet and use Herbamarie...not sure if you get it in USA...
I always try learn lessons from my mom as I so dont want to have her problems one day...hence I hardly touch alcohol, salt and watch my weight...

Enjoy your evening...am off to burn calories after I ran for an hour this morning on the treadmill at gym.

  2. That's the problem with those damn bloody mary's. they are so full of sodium. I also have been drinking them instead of beer.

water, water and more water. why does it always seem to come back to that?

  4. Congrats on a no beer weekend. I hope that you can get all your water in to decrease that bloated feeling.

    Take care,

  5. There's something to be said for relaxing and hanging out with friends, you know! You work hard, that's a good thing! Congrats on skipping the beer and its empty calories. I have no idea what the calories are in the other drinks, though. lol Hope you had fun!

  6. Hey Katie,

Do you have the digital display for the BB? You don't even need the Apex site with it and you can log your food on a free site (for now until you can access it at home).

    Keep it up!

  7. It is very hard to keep up all of your hard work at the weekend- the weekend is always my downfall. But you didn't drink beer, so that's great!
Thank you so much for your Halloween idea- I love it! I did forget my trench coat at home this weekend (I really have one!) but I'll see what I can do!

  8. Packing sucks. They should use it as a form of torture.

  9. You seem to have been packing for ages, it is good to have a rest sometime.

Well done on avoiding the beer. Surely bloody mary's are good for you, being mostly tomato juice anyway, lol!
