ABCDE...Foods

A: is for Apple, what’s your favorite variety?
Granny Smiths and Galas

B: is for Bread, regardless of nutrition, calories, or whole grains what is your favorite type to have a nice big piece of?
Whole wheat and the nuttier and grainer the better

C: is for Cereal what is your favorite kind currently (just one!)
Cheerios

D: is for Doughnuts, you might not currently be eating them but what kind do you fancy?
I haven’t had a donut in years but I liked maple bars when I did

E: is for Eggs, how would you like yours prepared?
Scrambled or poached

F: is for Fat Free, what is your favorite fat free product?

Jello Pudding

G: is for Groceries, where do you purchase yours at?

Safeway or Save-Mart mostly

H: is for Hot Beverages, what is your favorite hot drink?

Coffee!!!

I: is for Ice Cream, pick a favorite flavor and add a fun topping.

J: is for Jams or Jellies, do you eat them, and if so what kind and flavor?

Strawberry or Apricot

K: is for Kashi, name your favorite Kashi product?
Never tried it!

L: is for Lunch, what was yours today?

I had sushi

M: is for microwave, what is your favorite microwave meal/snack?

Popcorn!!

N: is for nutrients, do you like carbs, fats, or proteins best?

Proteins, then carbs, then fats

O: is for oil, what kind do you like to use?

98% of the time I use EEVO.

P: is for protein, how do you get yours?

Beans, soy, chicken, eggs

Q: is for Quaker, how do you like your oats?

Not runny

R: is for roasting, what is your favorite thing to roast?

Eggplant and Onions

S: is for sandwich, what’s your favorite kind?
Tuna fish

T: is for travel, how do you handle eating while traveling?
The last few trips I went on I either maintained or lost. I try my best to make the right choices. Biggest thing here is avoiding alcohol…

U: is for unique, what is one of your weirdest food combos?

Pretzels with cream cheese

V: is for vitamins, what kind do you take?

Currently, none

W: is for wasabi, yay or nay?
I like wasabi in moderation

X: is for XRAY. if we xrayed your belly right now, what food would we see?

Sushi


Y: is for youth, what food reminds you of your childhood?
Peanut butter. My mom always thought it was me that ate all the peanut butter but when I moved out it was still disappearing. The culprit? My dad!

Z: is for zucchini, how do you prepare it?

Cut up in stir-fry’s, sautéed

  1. Ha, we just did this in the car with the kids. We named something about vacation that started with A, then B and so on. We're going on vacation in a week and clearly are excited!

    Love that your dad is the peanut butter thief!

  2. I haven't gone away for a vacation since, um, 1994. Sad, huh? My health precluded it, as I got sick in all but one of the last 6 hotels I stayed at. I just plain stopped traveling out of fear. I went deaf for 2 days after one stay, taht much inflammation.

    Maintaining or losing on vacations is GREAT. Most folks GAIN.

    I love galas, too!
