Thursday Thinking

Had a good day yesterday. I went to get my facial as planned and it was very relaxing. The only trouble was that when I got my hair colored the other day, the gal who put it on for me was rubbing my temples and she actually rubbed skin off because she was rubbing so hard. So, I have three spots on my hairline that are like rug burns. Grrrr... luckily they are covered "mostly" by my hair but I think the facial would have been a little more enjoyable if I had not had the burns. She decided that I did not need a peel but did a moisturizing facial instead because I have nice skin. Well, that was nice to hear and it was the same price as the Peel so I am fine with it.

When I got home, I made some BBQ chicken on the grill since it was so hot inside. Anything to avoid turning the oven on. I made steamed rice in the rice cooker and a threw together a tossed green salad. I love that about summer, being able to BBQ all the time. Although, I live in a pretty mild climate so we do it almost year round.

One thing I forgot to mention yesterday was that my biological siblings did in fact text me to say Happy Birthday on Tuesday. I was not sure if I would hear from any of them but this was the first birthday that I have celebrated since discovering they existed. It really meant a lot that they cared to reach out. My brother Bob J, texted me and called me an old fart and I told him he was an older, stinkier fart. Some people never grow up LOL! Until next time...
