Thursday Randomness

Had a nice visit with my mom. It was a little awkward but it was fine. We went to Marie Callender's for dinner and I had a Cabo San Lucas Salad. I ordered the Petite size and it was still 770 cals. I planned ahead though and knew what I was in for.

Back on August 7th I had my eyebrows done by threading. Well I just had them done again and it was not as bad. The outgrowth was way less then when waxing and I think it lasted longer. It is only $10 too so I think I will keep going.

Plan on going to the gym with Karla tonight. I want to go to some of the classes so I am going to bring the schedule and see what looks good. They have everything you can think of including, hip-hop, belly dancing, Zumba, kickboxing, etc. I look forward to the day that I can take a kickboxing class!

Hadley kindly let me know that I was remiss in posting my 10 bloggers for the Honest Scrap award so I added them to the post from yesterday but here they are again in case you missed them.

The other day I went to Safeway and did Operation Beautiful. I saw a lady go into the store and spotted which car was hers so I stuck my note on her car window near the handle. It said "You look fabulous today!" I should have taken a picture but my phone was dead. This time I did not stay to see her reaction but hopefully it made her smile. Until next time...

  1. You really did well! Few calories taken in...lots burned off! Way to go!

  2. Planning is the best way - love that you could work a meal like that into your day and still be ok, calorie-wise!

  3. Glad to hear the threading was less painful this time. It still seems scary to me.

Good luck at the gym tonight! You're doing great, Katie.

  4. I love Operation Beautiful! I really need to get out the post-its and spread some love with my daughter in tow! =)

    Keep up the great work!

  5. Hi KJ - I just stumbled on your blog. It's great! Congratulations on the weight you've already lost - fantastic and inspiring. I never heard of Operation Beautiful but get the gist from your post. What a good idea.

If you get a chance, I'd love for you to visit my blog. I'm a relative newcomer but am finding an amazing amount of help and support from this community. I'm going to follow you and your continued progress!

  6. How great of you to leave the random note! Ouch on the threading. It's great to see you planning. Wooot on your 50 lbs gone!

  7. I'm new here -- first time actually! I love your Operation Beautiful, what a nice thing to do!

I see the tracker you use on calories/activity - what do you use? I love it!

I SO know you can meet all your goals!

  8. Ohh Threading is sooo painful! Ouch!

  9. ok
I have the worst eyebrows and have been SO SO TEMPTED by threading.
my fear is that some one will thread off too much and Ill have to draw em on :)
(ok Im not joking--that is my fear)
    is it irrational??

I'd love to know what's on your mind...
