I went to the Senior center and they said I need to get "approved" since I am not 50. I will call the lady today and see what she says. It would be a bonus but I do have a gym membership and my gym has a pool, it's just that I would be less embarrased swimming at the Center vs. the gym.

My plan for the weekend is packing. My mom does want me to come over Saturday but I am going to have to limit my time with her because I only have two more weeks to get organized. I just started packing up some boxes last night. Change is good... change is good... Hope you all have a great day today and a great weekend.

Side note: Dave had a great idea that I think I am going to use. He suggested that I not drink any beer between now and Christmas (Mexico?) I went 7 months without it so 2 months should be a breeze. If I do desire an adult libation I can always have a glass of red wine. Until next time...

  1. I think you could be right about the changing seasons. In addition to that, I'm on this constant edge with the whole Brent situation. I'm just ready for it all to be resolved & get him home.
You'll have to post pictures of your new apartment when you get settled. That's exciting.

  2. Change is Good! I tell myself that all the time. I do not like change. I try to not let it throw me, but being a creature of habit, it always does. Even when it's change I have initiated.

Be excited about the new place. Waiting for pics!

  3. That would be great if you could swim at the Senior Center. Great idea...let us know how it goes.

I loved your list from your last post. You have an edge I wouldn't have suspected!! =D Fiendish ways in your youth, shooting crows - I laughed out loud. You're doing fantastic.

  4. Thank you for reminding me that "Change is good!". I really needed to hear that today.

    Have a great weekend! =)

  5. I swear, getting rid of beer does help (she says as she's drinking beer)...I need to not drink to lose weight too. It really really helps!

  6. I need to get rid of diet coke...It's not gonna happen though. I don't get the love of beer. It tastes kinda icky to me, but to each her own. ;) I hope it helps!

I'd love to know what's on your mind...
