Wanderlust Wednesday

Well today would be my normal weigh day but I have decided to forgo weighing in this week. I forgot to take my meds yesterday, TOM is in town and with the move and all I will just wait until next week.

My mom and I went to Fish Market but I didn't eat much. We found out that her MRI showed signs of Transient Ischemic Attacks (TIA) or mini-strokes. This would be one of the reasons why she is having memory issues. She had a triple bypass and valve repair two years ago and my assumption is that they occurred during that time. That is when I started noticing behavior changes. Dr. G is going to call her today with more details. She also wants to know if it is okay to travel so she can book our cruise to the Mexican Riviera. *Big Sigh*

  3. Good luck with your mom, my mom has been having TIA's for about 2 years, but lately they have been scarce.

Oh and loved opening the mail today, the book was here and I can not wait to start reading it! Thanks again!

  4. Hi Katie,
Funny how our relationships change. Every time my dad puts on his hockey skates a little part of me wishes I could put him in a cage! But the reason they are with us is because of these passions...
Thanks for following my other blog, it means a lot to me.
    See your progress next week.
    Try to stay calm!
