Went better then I expected with the finger surgery, thank goodness. Everyone was super nice. One of the surgical nurses had just purchased a bodybugg so we talked about that and my blog while they were dicing and slicing. I have to keep the dressing on for 2 days and then the stiches will come out in 14 days. I am taking Darvocet for the pain and I am at work. I warned them ahead of time so it's all good. Katie is going to be a little loopy today :-D I did drive to work and will drive home but I am less then 5 miles away.
I didn't have my bodybugg on yesterday. I did not have breakfast and had a sandwich for dinner so calories were lower then usual. Tonight, we are going to the Redi Room for dinner and I will have my usual Salmon. Tomorrow is weigh day so I am not quite sure what to expect. I was down last time I checked but I got off schedule with my pills so I am retaining water. It remains to be seen.
Looks pretty flippin' good. I hope you're not driving while you're loopy!
ReplyDeleteGlad that your procedure went well. Hopefully your work doesn't require operating large machinery! Feel better fast and heal!
ReplyDeleteGlad everything went well-I wondered about it all day at work :)
ReplyDeleteHi Katie. Glad it went OK. Take care.

ReplyDeleteLOL! So glad that it went well...but that pic of the bandaged finger is tooooo funny! lol. Deb
ReplyDeleteGlad things went well for you....and there is absolutely nuthin' wrong with loopy!!! :) Enjoy the drugs.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear things went well for you. No driving while loopy:) Hope you feel better soon. Take Care.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad the surgery went well. I had a shot in my finger when I was younger to remove a really deep splinter and it hurt almost as much as the shot I had in my toe to have an ingrown toenail removed. That was the worst!
ReplyDeleteTake care of yourself!
Hope that your finger is healing well! Good luck at weigh in day!
ReplyDeleteOuch....thank goodness for Darvocet. :)
ReplyDeleteI left you an award over at my blog....come grab it when you get a chance.

Hey Katie - glad you are doing ok after the surgery!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that your surgery went so well. Here's to a speedy recovery. (You can't have your bird finger out of commission.) ^^
ReplyDeleteDon't worry too much about your weight, at the moment. Medications and fluids given and so forth are going to futz with your numbers for a bit. Just eat as you normally do, getting lots of protein for healing and concentrate on recovering and taking care of yourself. *gentle hug*
Glad you are doing well! Loppy girl! :) hehe
ReplyDeletehow about LOOPY lol geezzz tracey!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad everything went well. Love the smiley face.
ReplyDeleteOkay, so I had to laugh that it's your middle finger....lol.... but the smiley face, what a great touch!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad things went better than expected, and I'm sure you are glad to have it over with.
Good luck with the weigh in.
