Monday Mayhem

Hope you all had a nice weekend. Mine was productive and low key. I did not go to Dave's game. I am almost glad I didn't because he got hit by a ball and it dislocated his finger. Can we say ewww?!? He had me bandage it up for him yesterday and it was majorly bleckky to look at. I spent most of the weekend going through more stuff and getting rid of things which is a good feeling. I have been taking pictures (Shelley!) so I will be able to show you what I have been up to.

I have my bodybugg on today for the 1st time in awhile. I need to figure out how to keep up with entering my food during the day. I have an app on my phone but it is very clunky. I am hoping to convince our IT Dept. to let me do it. Right now there is a temp person and we hit it off so I will ask J if he will allow me to set it up. Alternatively, I could do it all at night and upload my activity then too but it seems counterproductive. I will figure something out but I am open to suggestion :-D

I figured out where the closest 24hr Fitness is to our new place. It is 6 minutes away. Looks like there is a Zumba class on Thursdays that should work for me. I like Zumba and need to get into a routine of going to the gym at least once or twice a week. I am spending $30/month and not going. I don't want to cancel though because I was grandfathered into that pricing. I don't know what prevents me from going. I just need to DO IT!

Tonight is going to be low key. I want to get some Wii time in and Danielle has been out of town so hoping to catch up with her as well. Also, Sarah over at Project 50 is the winner of the Lucky One book giveaway. Congrats Sarah! I will be doing another giveaway soon so stay tuned for that. Until next time...

  1. It's nice to get rid of things...we're doing that right now. I hope they'll let you put your software on, that would be great.

  2. Thank you! I can't wait to get the book. I love Zumba and in fact went tonight. It is the one thing I have no issue with trying to convince myself to get to. I would do Zumba everyday if I could! Hope you have a great Monday!

  3. I'm not really in a position at work to be able to track stuff during the day either. I tried doing at the end of the day when I got home but would miss the odd thing and sometimes would find that there was only 100 calories left for dinner ... oops! So now I pretrack nearly all of my weekdays at least 1 night before. Makes grocery shopping easy too as I know what I need to make the week 'work' well in advance. Works for me!

  5. We are also in the midst of getting rid of things. I am not a pack rat by any means. So when we go through things that we no longer need -- I happily give them away!

    I see you play the Wii! How cool! What are your favorite games?
