Katie J's doing a Giveaway!

Thank you so much for the positive and healing thoughts. I am doing a lot better. I think the stones have passed for the most part.  I am at work today so that is a good sign although I do have my pain pills too. I had some Instant Breakfast already and drinking tea and water. I have not had coffee all week. :-( I drink tea when my belly is funky. If I don't have any caffeine my head will cave in. LOL!

So here is a look at my hair. I am eternally trying to take decent self portraits. You would think I would have no trouble since I have the iPhone that has the reversible camera but alas, I am unable to do a decent one. This one made the cut though. My friend said on Facebook: "You look a lil girl going to Disneyland and you just cant believe it ;-) Of course all I see is the deep wrinkles on my forehead...

About 4 months ago, I was in Walgreen's and saw this product called Bio-Oil. It was with the moisturizers and lotions. Bio-Oil® is a specialist skincare product that helps improve the appearance of scars, stretch marks and uneven skin tone. Its advanced formulation, which contains the breakthrough ingredient PurCellin Oil™, also makes it highly effective for numerous other skin concerns, including aging skin and dehydrated skin.

Being that I have skin issues like eczema and NLD, I figured it would be worth a try. They had 2 sizes available. One was $10 and the other was $20. I picked the $10 since I was not sure how effective it was. Well, I was pleasantly surprised!! I actually gave the $10 bottle to Danielle for a scar she is trying to fade and bought the larger bottle. She shared her's with another friend whose baby had heart surgery and it is fading the babies scar too.  I LOVE BIO-OIL! This stuff is amazing! I have been using it it on my face for the uneven skin tone, on my arms to fade the eczema scars, my belly for the stretch marks and on my legs for the NLD and I have noticed an improvement on all of the above! Even on my uncurable, product resistant NLD, it has made a difference! I do plan on writing a testimonial for them because I believe that strongly about their product. I wrote the company and told them how much I love their product and asked if they would send me some sample bottles and they responded right away!

I will be giving two winners a 2 oz. sample bottle of Bio-Oil. All you have to do is tell me in the comments what beauty product you just can't live without?  You can get additional entries for posting the giveaway on Facebook or Twitter. This giveaway is open to EVERYONE so even you lovely International readers are welcome to enter. There is also a $2 off coupon on their website in case you don't win and you are interested in getting some. I will announce the winners on Monday, February 7th.  Until next time...

  3. Oh man, kidney stones are horrible. I'm so sorry! I hope they passed for you by now...
My can't be without beauty product is my concealer. It's Almay stick, and it covers up everything - I'm always amazed how much better I look (and feel)after applying a bit of concealer and powder!

  6. I can't live without Cellex-C Sea Silk Oil-Free Moisturizer. Can't buy locally, so I have it shipped every 3 months from Amazon. Tried lots of others before I found this one. Great for "mature" skin without all the greasiness.

  14. I'm glad that you are feeling better! XD

I can't live without my hemp hand cream from The Body Shop!!! Every winter my hands would crack and scab and I way always scratching, AND it would travel down to my wrists. I COULD NOT TYPE!!! :-0

Then four years ago I was in the mall and I tried a sample and the next day my hands and wrists were better. I have been buying it ever since and when I run out I use whatever I can get my hands on but none of it EVER works. I love it and I will never stop using it.

Anyone with the same problems, especially my fellow bloggers should try it!
