Did well with food yesterday and was able to achieve a decent deficit. I am feeling a lot better then I have in the last two weeks. Looks like my "plumbing" problems have subsided. Speaking of plumbing, I feel like I have been in the ladies room at least 10x a day now with all the water I am drinking. I work at the front desk in my office and have someone cover me whilst I use the loo and I am very self-conscious of how many times I have to ask someone to cover the phones for me. I think subliminally, I avoided drinking water so I wouldn't have to ask so many times but I am over that now. I am not going to compromise my health anymore because I don't want to impose.
I am not sure if I mentioned it or not but our office is moving. The company I work for has leased offices for the last 45+ years and they are now building a customized building just for our office. It is further away from home then our current location BUT it is only 1.25 miles from my gym! Can't get much closer then that. I had considered reducing my gym membership to just the Sport locations but the Crane Court location is a Super Sport and I think well worth it if I use it regularly. What I need to do is a "dry run" from my apt. to the new office location and then to the gym. Do you ever do that? It reduces the anxiety for me if I am driving somewhere new. Obviously, I can only do it to shorter destinations but it makes me feel better. Well I hope you have a wonderful day! Until next time...
Good for you! I think it's common for heavy women to be very focused on Not Imposing -- and we shouldn't.
ReplyDeleteOh, you and I are so alike. Yes, I do a dry run. Anything that reduces anxiety is a plus in my books.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're feeling better, KJ. And speaking of that I always smile when I open up your Blog. I love the name - Katie J is on her way. My middle name starts with a J and I always think, "And so is Darla J." (LOL) How goofy is that?
We are always moving into a brand new building this August after working in an old building for the past 17 years. I'm embracing the change, because whether I like it or not, it's going to happen. It's sure going to be different, but different isn't necessarily bad, right? Good day, Ms. J.
ooops, not always moving - also moving - lol.
ReplyDeleteI have the same issue..I have to ask to have someone cover my job to go to the loo and rather than ask I don't drink as much as I need. I haven't resolved this yet..good to hear you're braver than me

I always do dry runs, especially if I have a set appointment the next day somewhere. I check out parking, traffic, alternate routes. Yes, I am OCD!
