My mother passed away this morning at 5:14 a.m. I am doing okay but obviously in shock. I have a feeling I will be posting a lot more in the coming months. I will keep you all posted.
May peace be with you
Thinking of you, my friend - this is going to be a challenging transition as you mourn the loss of such an important person in your life. Big hugs to you.
Aww...just read this. Sooo sorry for your loss Katie. Sending a giant virtual hug down the coast to you! Take care of yourself while you are taking care of everything else.
Here's your card, Even tho it doesn't have pictures or anything fancy. It does carry a Real Hug (already delievered). And It is sent with prayers and wishs that all goes well theses days to come.
Hi Katie. I'm a little late with this but I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I think no matter how old we are losing are mother is devastating. They're the one person that loved us unconditionally. Sadly, we only get that kind of love once in our life. No one else can even come close. I hope you're feeling better, but I know it's something we never get over - losing our mom. M own mother passed away in 2005. Just two days ago when I had to go to court (again due to stupid soon-to-be ex-husband) -- I thought...I want my mommy! Of course, I have to really stand on my own two feet now but I have her memory to lean on. After all, we are a part of them. They still live inside of us. Sorry...I'm rambling here. Just hope you're okay. It's only been a couple months and although time does help heal us, this is one thing that we never totally recover from. Take care of yourself. And thanks for the cute pictures of your little fur babies. They're adorable.
(((Katie)))
