Buggless Monday

I did not wear my bugg all weekend and then I forgot to put it on this morning. I think what I will do is try to upload at least the activities I do over the weekend so I can at least keep track of that. I should probably call Customer Service and see if there is a way to fix the upload speed or maybe I should try it again and see if it works any faster.

Do you know someone who likes to be a back seat driver? Dave drove me crazy over the weekend telling me how to drive. Turn here, put your signal on, pass that car, stop over here... Grrr it drove me nuts! He even did it in front of his friend. I did tell him it was bothering me but I don't think he fully got it. I am tempted to tell him this afternoon when I talk to him how much it affected me. Silly stuff to be sweating but it makes me frustrated and I don't need extra stress.

Last day of August today... sheesh where did it go? Did not meet any of my monthly goals but did start walking with Karla. Looking forward to a new month and hopefully some new resolve. I need my to get my mojo back. Hope you all have a great week! Until next time...

XOXOX,

  1. Calling customer service sounds like a good idea to me. Maybe they'll be able to fix it, and if not it shouldn't do any harm.

As for where the time went, I'm pretty sure you crossed the 50 pound mark and decluttered a whole bunch of your house this month. Those sound like some pretty worthwhile uses of time to me!

  2. Thanks for the comment today. I'm glad you're inspired by the C25K. You can do it too. I originally started it back around June 1st. But I guess I just wasn't physically ready yet. I felt like a failure doing it. So I just kept working out on the elliptical and then when I tried it again 2 months later, I could do it. I was completely shocked.
I think from now on, I'm going to do each week for 2 weeks just to build up stamina, speed, and more importantly, confidence.
I'm more shocked my the crazy amount of calories that the walking/running burns. On the 2nd night of doing week 2, I did the 30mins with the podcast & then walked another 15 mins (because I set my Bodybugg goal for 45 mins of activity). I burned 740 calories in 45 mins. Now I feel like I'm wasting precious workout time if I do something other than the C25K that doesn't burn that many calories. My mind is mean like that..ha ha.

  3. Hi Katie,
I can't believe August is gone either. A lot of my goals were too slow to keep up with this month too.

  4. I know a backseat driver...my dad. Man drives me crazy every time I get in a car with him. I used to let him drive because of it, but he's getting so old and drives so slow that now I just have to put up with it. Doesn't matter if I tell him...he's a cranky ol' geezer.

  6. My husband always likes to tell me how to drive, like I don't know how. I just roll my eyes.

Love your new layout. Did you make it?

  7. It is a Blog Fairy design. I am going to have her do a new design but have been playing around with it while she designs it. I wish I could do web design. I do have the artistic flair just not the technical knowledge

  8. I hate back seat drivers... my husband is like that. I never drive when he is in the car. I make him drive because it makes me crazy ! ! !

  10. I almost bite my tongue in half trying NOT to make comments when my hubby drives. :-) My mom always loved to backseat drive.

You are doing an awesome job!

  11. Call the company! You need the bugg to work well for you--you've had such great success with it so far, the speed things should not be an issue.

I am a backseat driver when my hubby drives. I now do almost all the driving. The best driving experience he ever had with me was after my surgery--I woke up once 10 miles from home, said the name of the town we were at, then promptly fell back to sleep. lol Otherwise, I drive. I did it with my dad, too, but he really needed it.

Those are the only two people I've ever done it with. I'll try to bite my tongue next time I'm with hubby in honor of you! =) He would definitely thank you.
