It's a Mystery...

As I was leaving work yesterday a lady hit my car coming out of a parking space. I am okay except my arm and hand are sore. I am going to the doctor in an hour or so.

My questions is where did the tennis ball and rubber ducky come from? It is a mystery to me!

Update: I have a sprained thumb and strained arm and will be just fine with ice and ibuprofen. He did tell me no Wii for awhile :-(

I took the day off work but I will go in tomorrow.

  1. Bizzare. Maybe the rubber duck was playing tennis and got killed in the ensuing mayhem. I'm glad YOU are okay though!

  3. I am glad to hear that you are OK. She must have been flying out of that space. Do you think someone is hiding toys under your bumper...lol

  5. That was quite a fender-bender - glad it wasn't worse! Maybe the duckie and the tennis ball have been hiding in your bumper all this time and were jostled loose?

  6. The rubber ducky was playing with the ball, it rolled into the street and the ducky chased after it where it was tragically struck down by the maniac woman who, after mowing down an innocent duck, then slammed into you! Glad you weren't hurt too badly. Somebody should put that lady behind bars (and for God sakes, bury the duck!)

  14. That must have been scary! So glad to hear that you are o.k. though. Take it easy for a bit.
As for the ducky, I had to laugh. Years ago, 1997 and 1998, before we had children, my husband and I travelled to Wyoming one year and Alaska the next. And we drove both times. With a rubber ducky on the dash board. It was our good luck charm in a manner of speaking. Anyway, your rubber ducky reminded me of our rubber ducky!

  15. No Wii. That's almost a crime against humanity. I'm sorry

I hope that insurance is smooth and peaceful and that you feel better soon.

  16. It's likely that some vehicle with a trailer hitch backed into you, with those things covering the hitch opening. Sorry to here of the car crashup. It'll cost some bucks.

As the duck and ball... well you may never know why they are there... but it's going to give you something to think about for a while eh? lol
