Muggy Monday

Hope you all had a good weekend! Mine was good overall. Bogey is adjusting to his new home. He got the cone of shame off and is hiding out under my bed. I have seen him peeking out at me and I did cuddle with him for a few minutes on Saturday. The good news is he is eating, drinking water and pooping in the litter box so that is a great sign. I am going to have to catch him though because he needs to get his stitches taken out out early next week. I guess I will need to get a carrier for him ;-) That little dude is not cheap! I had absolutely nothing for him so I had to get quite a few things. I will take some pics tonight of his cute loot.

Eating over the weekend was pretty good overall. Saturday, I just wasn't hungry so I did not eat until dinner time. Weird for me to not be hungry ALL day but I made it work. I did not do any formal exercising but I did try to keep moving and drinking lots of water. I tried making a Frittata for the first time Sunday morning. I have seen them on Helen's blog and have wanted to try it for awhile.  It actually came out pretty good. I sauteed mushrooms, spinach and garlic and then added the egg mixture and sliced ham and put cheese on top.  Then I put the pan in the oven to melt the cheese and voila.  I should have used more spinach and shredded cheese would have been better then sliced but I was pleasantly surprised at the results. I still have the other half. They say you can eat it hot or cold but I imagine it tastes better heated.

It is supposed to be in the 90s today. Blechh! The sad part about that is I actually have an air conditioner but I can't get anyone to help me install it and I don't think I can do it myself. People have offered to help but no one comes through. Pfffttttt... That just sucks...

Yesterday I stopped by to say hello to Danielle at work. They have a vodka that is cake flavored. It had one of those scannable codes so I opened up Quick Scan and while I was doing that, I realized I could actually create a code for my blog. So here it is:
I thought this would be great to print on a business card as well so when I get cards for my blog (Fitbloggin12) I can add the code to it. Cool eh? Until next time...

  2. Seems very professional having a code thing on your cards, but hey, we all need to keep up with modern technology :o)

Glad to hear Bogey is out of the cone too. I can't wait to see more of his pretty face.
