Mundane Monday

How was your weekend? Mine was pretty good overall. Saturday, I took Bogey to get his final shots. I am glad I went when they opened because it was chaos when I left. LOTS of goggies. I think there were only two other cats the whole time.  One of the cutest goggies was a minpin that was 8 weeks old named Peanut. His owner is going to mate him with another minpin named Jelly. How dang cute is that?!? He was so tiny and I just loved his sweet puppy breath. Too bad their breath doesn't stay like that!

Not much else to report. Went grocery shopping and also bought a case of meat and a box of halibut from my friend. There is absolutlely no room left in the freezer. Fortunately, he put the meat in there so it got stacked properly. I had a bacon wrapped filet mignon last night for dinner. Yummy! Also went to my mom's for a little while.

I had recently contracted a company to trim trees and put in new tan bark and it looks fantastic. It was way overdo but now it's done. My next plan of action is to get a quote on replacing the fence on the right side of the property. It has fallen down in one spot and looks like crap. The neighbor is an odd bird to say the least and it is on his side of the property. He is a recluse and I am going to approach him about splitting the cost. When my dad was alive, he wouldn't even approach him about things like that. He would just pay for it all and not deal with him. I am a little nervous but the worst thing that could happen is he says no.  Until next time...

  1. Glad to hear that you had a good weekend.

I hate people like that (neighbors) they never want to chip in but get the benefits of a finished product. Good luck with that.
